Trillium Hosting Take PRIDE in Your Health SUMMIT Event
Program on June 18 will feature Secretary Kinsley and provide educational information about health issues that may impact the LGBTQ+ population
GREENSBORO, NC: Trillium Health Resources will host our next SUMMIT event on June 18 in Greensboro. Speakers will present about mental health needs for youth, HIV/AIDS, and more for the LGBTQ+ community. We will also share about the background for the PRIDE movement and the important activism it encourages.
The Take PRIDE in Your Health event will take place at the Koury Convention Center and will last from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Check-in starts at 9:30 a.m. and lunch will be served. Registration is free and will include giveaways, and printed health information.
Kody Kinsley, Secretary of the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, will provide the opening remarks. Other speakers/panelists include:
